How long does it take for google adsense check payment to reach the Philippines?
it might not be the same for all of us, perhaps due to geographic location. Manila will be the central post office so i assume a little faster than the rest of the islands.
I recently hit the threshold of $100 as minimum payout, I have received many time check payments from google before when I was handling a website we heavy traffic, after that, it was a long wait, until recently when google adsense added new features to further benefit its publishers.
So the waiting started as soon as google adsense emailed me or was it in the notification, that they have released the check. A month has passed and still no check in the mailbox, The delays before didnt bother me but this time its for christmas. So I started to check on the details, I had a check reissued before since I thought it didnt arrived and yet it did, funny was the reissue came ahead of the original, perhaps post office thing in the philippines.
Google adsense states that you can request for a reissue if 2months has passed and no check on site, they will cancel payment for the original. And Checks not deposited or cashed out after 6 months will be autocancelled and will be added to you next payment, keep that in mind.
It's been 2 months and still nothing from the post, so we decided to visit the post office. I asked an employee where to ask if I have a mail, you know sometimes the postman cant deliver it or too swamped with deliveries (Yes with PhilPost and budget constraints it does happen, I postman handling a larget area). She asked me if it was a registered mail or not and I had no clue Anyways she told me to go to the back where the postmen are and ask the guard for the postman assigned in my area. The guard instructed me to fill out a paper with my name and address and from where the mail is coming from, he then went inside to give the details to the postman for my area.
The guard came back and said, no mails for me and further said no foriegn mails came in yet, I didnt question about it has been 2 months since the issuing since, they've search the record and it should be there even if it arrived a month ago. Then the guard said while giving me the paper back, the postman said to put you contact number so he can call or text you when mail arrives, so I did and the guard said place the country of origin so the postman wont forget, and I wrote US and then in my mind place google so the postman will know that I'm waiting for something from google.
As soon as the guard saw the word google, he then said "ay sa adsense mga 4 months pa ni sir" I was shocked, then he opened his drawer and showed me an adsense mail, of course the check was detached already. Then the guard said will check again with the postman if there coz he thought it was just the usual mail. He then came back and and said "sir wala pa, mga 4 months na sir" I was still shocked and I said ok chef thank you so much. and left. Then it came to my mind how was the guard was able to get a hold of the letter? perhaps the guard is a vlogger or a writer right?
Anyway, my next move is to do a wire transfer, swift key and stuff so I have visit my bank for he details. This bank transfer or wire wasnt available before, so I will try it.
