When you rely on something and it messes it up for you.

Having an autorenew is very important specially in our hectic and busy schedule sometimes we just forget to look into things. A reminded in the that alarm and stuff sometimes they slip thru.

A client's domainname is registered using networksolutions .com. I was shocked when he forwarded me that the domainname needs to be renewed, since I just renewed the domainname for the client and when i doubled checked it was was just recently renewed. Weeks pass and another email forwarded regarding the renewal. To cut this annoying email and making my client at ease that the domain has been renewed for another year, i changed the email address of the contact info to mine.

And yes every reminder from networksolutions that your domainname will expire 6months from now does come in, Super to the top reminder. Again you cant complaint better than not reminding you. Anyways the domain is autorenew so it would be much of a biggie actually.

The Client's domainname exppires feb 2024. As of this writing its dec 2023. Network Solutions autorenewed the domainname already! The client has released any renewal payment and here is it Network Solutions just autorenewed the domainname 2 months before the domainname expires.

Beware of this as this can complicate billings and stuff. In my case that money is allocated for something very important, but was pushed back to due to this incident. Paypal has issued a refund but still taking some days. And the more I count the days of waiting for the refund, the more my frustration grows.

I hope paypal will be able to refund the soonest as the money is badly needed. Yes this is not paypals faulty, this is networksolutions tricky tactics.I'm pulling out from networksolutions .com
