This article is loaded under the VERSUS category coz this is about if this alternative to the real corned beef would be able to cut it. Our basis for the real corned beef would be Purefoods Corned Beef as it is everyone's go to corned beef.

Straight forward review, this is nothing closed to the real corned beef, for its price of closed to P100, just go for Purefoods corned beef. If your looking for an alternative perhaps search elsewhere. The unMeat meat-free luncheone meat style is on top of our meat free luncheon meat , and can be an alternative to spam!. But this unMeat corned beef style didnt lived up to it.

When you open the can, you can actually tell that its not your usual corned beef, it doesnt have that smell like purefoods. Once it hits the pan, that smell amplifys, reminds me of those cheap corned beefs sold in tapsilogs. Texture wise, not close of higher priced corned beef, if you compare the price and based it there. Even some cheap real corned beef would have better texture than this. If you think of it, its like a cheap corned beef but pricier coz its healthier.  

We cant do a tops also since this is not close to the real one so it cant be part as a contender as an alternative to the real one.
